The University museum
The Museum of the University of Tampere was opened in the 80th anniversary year of 2010. The museum consists of an office that reflects the original work of architect Toivo Korhonen in terms of the furniture and other items on display.
The exhibits tell the story of studying, teaching and research over a period of fifty years. A few items also come from the earlier period when the Civic College was still located in Helsinki.
The Museum can be found in room A 131 of the Main Building, and it is opened by agreement. The Museum welcomes donations of appropriate items and photographs.
Visitors and donors, please phone 040 746 6632 or 040 190 1532.
